New Ideas

I have been finishing up the edits from Guilty From Beyond The Grave and am extremely ready to begin working on book two, Incubus Illusions. I have notes ready, the first 100 pages done and am ready to begin the creative stage again. I always find creation better than editing. I know many writers who would agree with me.

For book four, I have found a theme song….Kamelot’s March of Mephisto. This really fits the book. I think the theme song for Guilty From Beyond the Grave would be Evanescene’s Haunted, but there are a few songs by them which could also work. I wrote the book to Evanescence. What does that mean? We’ll for me, when I write I am inspired by music, and Evanescence is the band who fits Sydney. I’m going to place Kamelot’s music with Slate, and perhaps Godsmack with Ashton. Aiden? We’ll I havent really placed him yet but we will see a book about Aiden.

When I write or edit, I listen to music. I HAVE to have music, it sets my mood, set’s the fantasy worlds in which I write. What am I listening to now??? Kamelot. I really like Kamelot and their music fits Ashton, Slate, Cian, and Ailill in my books. It has also led to a new story line. I can not divert my muse and she likes to reveal new ideas to me in the oddest places. Sometimes I wish I could keep some type of water proof paper and pen in the shower!!! Argh…

All I will say is the plot lines twist between the books and although you will be able to read each book individually, you will need to read all of them to see the entire story….it’s almost like Harry Potter in the story line…meaning multiple books tell the entire story.

It’s one long long story with revenge, murder, ghosts, castles, magick, and dangerous dealings with the fey, the Underworld, demons, and entities…finally the hidden secret will be revealed and shock Sydney. She won’t know who to trust as she travels time through the spirit gateways to the faery world, Ireland, and the British Isles. Deception is something she has learned quickly, becasue it’s difficult to love when you’re decieved by those you trusted with your life. And sometimes the enemy is not so bad after all….sometimes the enemy is the trusted. Thankfully Sydney has the sword of truth, honor, and magick wielded by the fey and held by Arthur…once upon a time. Can she stop an otherworldly battle?

Slainte!
