About Heidi

Heidi C. Dahlquist

 Heidi wrote her first manuscript, (Emma’s Horse), at the age of nine. By the time she had turned ten, Heidi had written three more manuscipts. All four books were mysteries involving horses. She also wrote and published poetry throughout middle and high school.

Heidi currently lives in a surburb of Indianapolis and holds both a BS & MS degree in Psychology, is a registered nurse, and is working on her PhD in Psychology with a concentration in parapsychology. She writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance. In her spare time, Heidi loves to travel, golf, and conduct paranormal investigations/ghost hunting. She also enjoys  celtic mythology and yearly travel to Ireland. She can be found wandering through graveyards and when she’s in Ireland she can easily be found in ancient stone circles!

Heidi  belongs to  The American Psychological Association (APA), Romance Writers of America (RWA), Futuristic, Fantasy, & Paranormal RWA (FFP),  Indiana Romance Writers and Celtic Hearts RWA. She is also the 2010 & 2011 Vice President of Futuristic, Fantasy, and Paranoraml Romance Writers of America and is a frequent judge is writing contests.
